I decided to try a device with touch input, so i got myself the reasonably priced raspberrypi 7" touch screen. First i wanted to make a pure OSC router/support device, but decided to install an 8 channel sound card to make a complete package.
Inside there is a raspberrypi3, which will offer a WIFI access point or ethernet for OSC enabled devices. The idea is to enable a very easy way to route and transform OSC data, which is A LOT better in resolution than MIDI, but a bit more complex to setup.
Beyond that was am thinking to use the 8ch as a CV out, but will probably have an ordinary synth on it, focusing on 8 channel synthesis for spacial setups.
The actual GUI software is being written and I will post updates as it comes along.
There is also great potential in having a sequencer/master out recorder running on this device, which is also something i look forward to making:)
